We needed to replace our existing wooden balustrades and were considering wood or PVC. Having been put in touch with Andy and his team, it very quickly became obvious to go for the long lasting product, Andy was very helpful in solutions as we had two awkward entrance posts and their expertise was clear and evident.
The work was done very efficiently on the three days allocated, the final product looks even better than I could have hoped for and I’d thoroughly recommend them to any future potential clients.
Greenacres Cricket have recently completed phase 2 of our fencing project at SSC, they have now installed in excess of 200 metres around our cricket ground.
We are absolutely delighted with the quality of their work and finished appearance of the fencing and gates.

Andy and his team erected a picket fence around our 1st XI cricket pitch, here at Prior Park College, Bath, in August 2025. This was a really tough job, as the pitch is uneven, and is build over an old car park. Andy, from the very start, was incredibly kind, diligent, professional and thorough. His costings were extremely competitive, and always transparent. He was respectful of the needs of the school, and very flexible in understanding the demands of the work that was required.
Andy quickly build a good rapport with all staff here at Prior, and our Head Groundsman really appreciated working with him. Andy’s team were also really helpful, and as soon as work begun, the fence was put up quicker than the estimated finish date.
We now have a wonderful fence, which has already had many admirers, and if we ever need work completed in the future, Andy will be the first, and only person, that we will contact to do it.

The groundwork and concrete laying was carried out by volunteers from the club and the fencing was supplied and installed by Greenacres Cricket. Andy Holt and his colleagues at greenacrescricket.co.uk did a superb job, and treated UVCC with the same respect and enthusiasm that they probably show to all their clients which includes several test match venues. In the winter of 2019 Marlborough College decided to revamp the front of it’s old and famous cricket pavilion.
Having been designed by the prestigious and renowned Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse it was very important that what we did was done to the highest standards. The timber picket fence at the front of the pavilion had been there for many years and was in need of a long term replacement.
All options were considered but having seen the upvc fencing at both Worcestershire’s County ground at New Road and at the Kia Oval it was decided that the best quality we could choose was produced by Greenacres Cricket and supplied through Stuart Canvas Ltd.
With presentation, quality and durability being our main criteria their product range seemed to us to be the best on the market. After several consultations to achieve the style, layout and dimensions that best suited our requirements the fencing was delivered and installed by Greenacres Cricket and is now sitting proudly at the front of the pavilion area.
We couldn’t be happier with the results and would like to thank Andy Holt of Greenacres Cricket for all their help in producing such a great outcome for Marlborough College.
